Logisolve is currently working with a $13B Regional Financial Services organization to identify top professionals for multiple positions: Mortgage Loan Processor,  Loan Processor/Loan Assistant Role and Mortgage Underwriter. 

For all three roles, the ideal candidate should have a minimum:

  • HS Diploma or GED + 1-5 years experience in the mortgage industry (depending on position)
  • Understanding of Conventional, FHA and VA Loans
  • Prove ability to meet standards and deadlines
  • Strong organization skills and high detail orientation
  • Excellence in communication across organizations, partners and with customers
  • Current eligibility for employment without sponsorship

Each of these roles can be fully remote.

For the Mortgage Underwriter, the ideal candidate is required to be proficient in the underwriting of conventional loans, and preferably FHA and VA loans as well. This position will be required to:

  • Analyze and evaluate residential mortgage loan applications originated by Bank branch offices.  
  • Gather, analyze and interpret credit information in accordance with agency and investor guidelines while adhering to quality standards and compliance regulations.
  • The ideal candidate is required to be proficient in the underwriting of conventional, FHA and VA loans. 
  • Must be proficient in complex tax return analysis and possess the ability to perform multiple tasks including, underwriting standard files and resubmissions each day;
  • Demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate both in written and oral form with internal and external clients to provide support as needed; and willing to work overtime as volume dictates.
  • Ideal candidate must be detailed, organized, self-motivated, demonstrate the ability to work toward closing date deadlines and tasks assigned, and manage work flow queue for file assignments independently
  • A minimum of 3+ years of mortgage loan underwriting experience is required.

The Mortgage Loan Processor also should be proficient in the processing of conventional loans, and preferably FHA and VA loans.The Mortgage Loan Processor is the internal primary point of contact throughout the residential loan application process and responsible for obtaining and verifying customer data and documentation for accuracy and completeness, based on regulatory and investor guidelines. 

The Mortgage Loan Processor ensures critical deadlines are met, manages internal and external customer communication, reviews applications for compliance with regulatory and investor guidelines and may perform additional duties/activities as assigned by management.

  •  minimum of 2 or more years of mortgage processing experience is required.
  • The ideal candidate must demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate both in written and oral form 
  • Candidate must be adaptable, organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, demonstrate the ability to work towards closing date deadlines and tasks assigned.

In addition, some Mortgage Loan Processors role will also encompass Loan Assistant responsibilities. This position requires 1-3 years mortgage experience. A loan assistant may manage, update and correct data related to new loan applications. Typically, the loan assistant uses loan software to determine borrower approval, but they must also have a keen grasp of general financial practices and methods.
