Description The associate project manager will work alongside more senior project managers to perform project management duties to support smaller scope projects as well as support the Project Management Office.  Accountabilities: Manage specific projects assigned through successful completion. Meeting timeline commitments and managing scope by facilitating key trade off decisions. Monitor and track the progress of the project and report out at the appropriate summary level Gain an understanding of business processes at a level which enables effective communication and understanding of success criteria. Develop project plans which detail the tasks, timeline and resources needed to complete the objectives. Ensure that the project is completed satisfactorily by meeting requirements outlined by the business analyst. Manage multiple projects at a time. Develop trust with both business and IT partners Facilitate meetings, record minutes and pass on important and complex information to teams and more senior Project Managers and Department Managers. Required: Bachelors (or equivalent experience) 5 years of IT Project experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent planning and organizing skills Ability to work under pressure and complete commitment deadlines Proficient in Excel, Word and Power Point. MS Project and Visio a plus. Ability to communicate in both technical and business terms
