Sr Informatica MDM Administrator

Duties and Responsibilities (to include, but not be limited to the following):

  • Take primary accountability for leading the work of 2 junior administrators
  • Drive a complete and thorough review of clients platform configuration with those resources, identifying issues and constructing test/implementation plans to address confirmed issues.
  • Lead the work to change clients MDM admin password which also requires a review of code to identify where the password is hardcoded
  • Lead the work to set up clients security roles and assign resources as required
  • Work with the junior resources to implement improvements in how clients platform is configured (including recommendations from Informatica as a result of an assessment performed last year)
  • Identify/recommend training and other support resources that would benefit the 2 junior resources.

  • Informatica MDM platform including application servers for cluster and high availability needs.
    • Participate in administrative activities related to MDM platform including but not limited to MDM hub, Process Server, Active VOS, Provisioning and IDD.
    • Manage JBOSS framework configuration.
    • Manage Address Doctor version upgrades.
    • Provide back up support for postal and population file refreshes.
    • Deploy hotfixes and Emergency break fix on MDM applications.
    • Manage user security at the application level.
    • Manage MDM job migration activities from one server to another.
    • Develop and manage reports and dashboards showing the health of the environment.
    • Participate in functional test planning and testing for the assigned application(s), functional area(s) or project(s)
    • Participate in problem solving and troubleshooting for the assigned application(s), functional area(s) or project(s)
    • Respond quickly/effectively to production issues, taking responsibility for driving issues to resolution quickly.
    • Develop UNIX shell scripts to automate tasks like restarts, clearing historic data/space etc. on application servers.
    • Develop technical documentation for installation and configuration.
    • Proactively serve as a troubleshooting resource and subject matter expert across the team
    • Provide education/mentoring to project teams and others
    • Act as a trusted advisor to key internal and external stakeholders
    • Maintain the Dev, QA, Stage and Prod environments, ensuring the successful execution of jobs.
