Logisolve is seeking a Sr. Accountant for a 3 month fully remote contract position. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and experience with
payroll and GL accounting experience, NetSuite and advance Excel skills. In addition, the ability to proficiently perform professional level accounting research, analysis, reconciliation, and financial and accounting reporting work as normally obtained through three to five years of experience working at a progressively responsible accounting role.
Location: 100% remote
Duration: 3 months
Compensation: $44.00-$48.00/hr. W2, depending on experience

Job responsibilities
1. Manages transactions and / or financial reporting in accounting systems in accordance with GAAP and Company policies.
2. Enforces proper accounting processes and procedures for practice within the department and Company. As business requirements and underlying processed change, update documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
3. Responsible for carrying out a variety of financial procedures, including but not limited to:
a. Payroll accounting
b. Bank reconciliation
c. Journal entry preparation
d. Month-end and year-end reconciliations
e. GL accounting
f. Revenue/Accounts receivable
g. Flux analysis
4. Prepare audit financial schedules
1. Prepare and analyze the company’s financial records
2. Assists in audit planning and requirements to ensure smooth operations and processes.
3. Review and streamline necessary internal controls and processes.
4. Performs other duties as assigned or apparent
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
NetSuite or other similar ERP experience
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word
Accounting research, reconciliation, analysis and reporting skills
Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
Good verbal and written communication skills
Able to work independently
Strong mathematical and analytical skills
