When I returned to Logisolve this June after 14 years away, it didn’t feel like starting over. It felt like coming home.

A lot has changed, but the things that matter most have stayed the same. I expected familiar faces to remind me why I joined in the first place. What I didn’t expect was how quickly my new V-Soft colleagues would feel like part of the same team, thanks to a culture so closely aligned with our own.

Better Together

Logisolve is now part of V-Soft Consulting Group, which means the team I rejoined is bigger, more diverse, and spread across the country.

At our recent Leadership Meeting, I met colleagues from Chicago, Long Island, Denver, Madison, California, and Kentucky. What struck me was that my return and their arrival were really the same story: people coming from different places to build something together. Less a merger, more a fusion of experiences, perspectives, and strengths.

Day 1: Veering Creek Farm

The Leadership Meeting kicked off with a welcome dinner at Veering Creek Farm, owned and operated by V-Soft founders

The farm supplies vegetables and spices for the Veer’s restaurant, Tandoori Fusion,
where traditional Indian flavors meet a Bluegrass twist. As we walked the farm and enjoyed the results firsthand, I began to see “fusion” as more than a restaurant concept. It’s a philosophy: bringing different traditions together in a way that makes each stronger without losing what makes it unique.

It’s one thing to read a leader’s bio. It’s another to spend an evening on the farm where
your CEO and his wife grow what’s on the table. That kind of welcome says a lot about the culture we’re building.

Day 2: Showing Up, Together

The next day was action, not reflection. Our team participated in the V-Soft
Cares 12th Annual Charity Golf Scramble at the University of Louisville Golf Club, benefiting the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women campaign.
It’s a tradition twelve years running, and this year the group raised $80,000 for
women’s heart health. From golfing to volunteering, our team helped make the day a success. Volunteers boosted donations through hole challenges, and, true to form, Tom was quick to accept one.

Day 3: One Way of Working

We wrapped up the series at V-Soft’s corporate office in Louisville, tackling a big
question: what does it look like when Logisolve and V-Soft truly become one organization?

Through facilitated discussions, we explored where our values and ways of working already aligned and where we still had work to do. What stood out was how much common ground already existed. We weren’t forcing two cultures together. Like the idea of fusion that had surfaced throughout the trip, we were bringing together distinct ingredients, preserving what makes each unique while creating something stronger together.

That’s the less glamorous side of integration, but it’s what makes everything else real. We left the session feeling optimistic about what’s to come.

What Fusion Means Going Forward

Coming back to Logisolve after 14 years, I expected nostalgia. Instead, I found a company evolving in all the right ways. Returning teammates, new V-Soft colleagues, and leaders who aren’t afraid to get their hands dirty (literally, on a farm in Kentucky) are creating something special together.

We help clients navigate change every day. This time, we’re experiencing it ourselves, and it’s given me an even greater appreciation for the work we do and the trust our clients place in us.

Fourteen years after I left, I’m glad to be part of it again. Once again, it feels like home, and like the right place to grow.
