Logisolve is seeking an IT Service Management Engineer for a long-term consulting opportunity with our direct healthcare client. The selected resource will configure and automate ITSM tools and workflows to optimize service delivery and operational efficiency. As a highly skilled professional, the ideal candidate will design ITSM solutions to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of IT services. This role requires an understanding of ITSM platforms, workflows, processes, and integration techniques, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in service delivery and functionality.  The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 3 years of ITSM experience. We are migrating from ServiceNow to TeamDynamix; any similar experience preferred but not required.  The candidate must be self-driven, possess strong communication skills, and be capable of effectively interacting with end users and stakeholders. A background in AI and Automation for process streamlining is preferred. 
  • Rate: $55.00-$65.00/hr. W2, plus benefits

  • 6-month contract-likely extensions

Your Responsibilities
  • Design, document and implement/configure ITSM solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational needs.  
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop innovative solutions and optimize workflows.  
  • Automate workflows and processes to improve efficiency and scalability.  
  • Develop requirements for integrating ITSM platforms with other enterprise systems.  
  • Guide IT staff and end-users on ITSM tools and processes. 
  • Monitor and analyze KPIs and ITSM metrics to identify improvements.  
  • Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance.  
  • Occasional after-hours support and weekend work based on the on-call rotation. 
Required Skills and Experiences
  • 3+ years of related professional experience. All relevant experience including work, education, transferable skills, and military experience will be considered. 
  • Knowledge of ITSM tools (e.g., Team Dynamix (TDX), Jira, ServiceNow) and processes (incident, change, release, configuration). 
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills. 
  • Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, including business stakeholders and leadership. 
  • Experience in workflow automation or processes to improve efficiency. 
  • Experience in analyzing metrics and executing where improvements are visible. 
  • Experience in mentoring others. 
  • Familiarity with cloud computing technologies. 
  • Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively within a team. 
  • Ability to persevere in the face of resistance or setbacks. 
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools. 
Preferred Skills and Experiences
  • Familiarity with migrations of ITSM solutions/software. 
  • We are migrating from ServiceNow to TeamDynamix, any similar experience is preferred but not required.   
  • Knowledge of ITSM processes within a Product led organization. 
  • Experience in cloud-based ITSM solutions. 
  • Experience in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Automation.

  • Title:  Senior Embedded Software Engineer
  • Rate: $120,000-$145,000, plus benefits

  We are seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop, and test embedded software features for the assistive communication products. This position is mostly hands-on development. You will be a significant contributor to, and the owner of, key technical and architectural decisions. You will also contribute to, and champion, the modernization of our software development processes and tools. Responsibilities:
  • Perform engineering activities across all stages of the software development life cycle, including technology exploration (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and RF) requirements management, design, implementation, test, release, and continuation engineering
  • Design and build a solution architecture that is scalable across our product portfolio, reducing the cost to develop and maintain solutions
  • Work on a variety of hardware and software platforms, from bare metal code on a simple 8051 controller to application-level code on an ARM processor
  • Act as the subject matter expert on embedded programming concepts including device driver development, inter-chip communication, real-time operating systems, optimization techniques
  • Lead software quality improvements through active participation in peer reviews and the development and maintenance of automated tests
  • Contribute to the software roadmap by identifying relevant technologies and recommending strategies to mitigate technical risks in product development
  • Translate product requirements into engineering specifications that can be structured, manageable tasks
  • Utilize project management tools to track and manage software development progress, prioritize tasks, track issues and facilitate sprint planning
  • Coach and mentor team members on software design and development best practices and techniques
TOP Qualifications:
  1. Experience working "closer to the metal" (also sometimes called as "bare metal" code) and RTOS (real time operating system).
  2. Experience with full product lifecycle (concept -> requirements -> design -> implement -> test -> release)
  3. Cultural fit - collaborative, in-person, small group, "get it done"
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering or related
  • 5+ years of professional experience developing embedded software products
  • Experience writing bare metal drivers for microcontroller device peripherals and for communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, UART, USB, and I2S (audio)
  • Experience with a real-time operating system such as FreeRTOS, Zephyr OS, or Linux-based real-time operating systems
  • 5+ years of electrical circuit experience involving low-level firmware, hardware-software integration, debugging hardware issues
  • 5+ years of digital signal processing with an emphasis on audio filtering
  • 3+ years of higher-level languages using C# or Python
  • 3+ years working with communication technologies
