Key Responsibilities
Data Analytics & Reporting
- Collect, clean, and transform data from procurement systems (SAP, Fieldglass, GEP, etc.) using Excel or other data cleansing software.
- Create and maintain interactive dashboards that provide actionable insights for leadership and stakeholders.
- Utilize advanced Excel functions (Power Query, Power Pivot, VBA a plus) to build reports and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security across all reporting and analytics solutions.
- Perform ongoing maintenance and updates to data universes as needed.
- Leverage system knowledge to fulfill ad hoc reporting requests, collaborating with stakeholders to understand their unique data and reporting requirements.
- Drive innovation by enhancing and optimizing existing reporting and dashboarding processes.
Process Automation & Optimization
- Automate manual processes and repetitive tasks using Microsoft Power Automate, focusing on workflows related to SAP, Fieldglass, GEP, SharePoint, Teams, and Outlook.
- Develop and implement solutions that enhance efficiency in reporting, data collection, approvals, dashboarding, and communication processes.
- Monitor and maintain existing automated processes to ensure accuracy and functionality.
- Identify and recommend improvements to existing data processes and automation workflows.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including all Indirect Sourcing teams and other internal business teams.
- Present data findings and process improvements in a clear and actionable format to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst with exposure to SAP, Fieldglass, GEP, or other E-Procurement systems.
- Proficiency with SAP reporting and data extraction.
- Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel, including Power Query and Power Pivot.
- Experience designing and managing dynamic and user-friendly Excel dashboards.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Power Automate or other process automation tools.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with a focus on data accuracy and process efficiency.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and be resourceful.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in VBA and/or other programming languages.
- Advanced skills in Excel macros.
- In-depth understanding of the procurement process to design meaningful dashboards.
- Experience with various reporting tools beyond Excel.
