A decade ago, software outsourcing was primarily viewed as an appealing way for enterprises to reduce operational costs, especially for organizations not focused on the IT industry. Today, as the demand for IT resources continues to rise exponentially, outsourced and offshore software development has become an integral part of most companies’ resource model.
Once a customer is convinced of the benefits of a variable technology resource model, they look at the right local, offshore, hybrid and/or
FTE mix to do the work. Logisolve’s Development Center gives customers the ability to outsource work locally, at a significantly lower cost than using 40-hour-per-week consultants. In short, Logisolve’s Development Center gives a hybrid, local option that offers the
benefits of offshore with the assurance of local, trusted resources.
Our Development Center also has the flexibility to secure resources from our Offshore team when preferred or when necessary.
Established in Q4 2020, our Development Center quickly gained momentum. Within its first year, we had a dedicated team of FTEs supporting over a dozen software development and support projects across six different clients. That success has continued into 2025. Over the past 4.5 years, we’ve completed development and support work for 38 unique projects and
25 different clients.
What is the Logisolve Development Center?
The Development Center is a core team of skilled professionals following structured software development practices. It provides development capacity both to Logisolve clients and to internal Logisolve initiatives..
Key highlights of the Development Center:

- We can scale FTE resources based on workload and integrate specific technology SMEs when needed. With Logisolve’s extensive network of consulting talent across the development spectrum, we provide the right resource mix at the right time.
- A structured work intake process is used, with development activities managed through DevOps.
- Agile methodologies are employed when appropriate, including daily standups with Development Center teams and
client leadership. - The team consists of U.S.-based resources managed by experienced technologists. Depending on project requirements
and client goals, teams may also include client FTEs and/or our offshore resources. - Our primary focus is on Web, Mobile, and Cloud solutions, with deployment capabilities in both Azure and
AWS environments.
What Type of Work Is Done Through the Development Center?
The type of work varies, but the Development Center is specifically structured to take on the following:

- Outsourced Custom Development – This can involve building a new end-to-end solution or developing enhancements or new modules for an existing application. Logisolve not only provides development services, but we also offer project managers, scrum masters, business analysts, and quality assurance analysts to support the full project lifecycle. The majority of our work falls into this category or the variable work described below.
- Variable Work / Flex Capacity – Development needs that fluctuate throughout the year or require the ability to scale across multiple project teams. This type of work is ideally suited for the Development Center, allowing our clients to stay focused on core initiatives while we manage the overflow.
- Long-Term Support and Maintenance – Contract or Hourly – We provide ongoing support and maintenance services for applications developed either by our team or by clients. These services can be delivered under a fixed monthly contract or billed hourly. We currently support both models based on client needs.
- Capacity Boost – This involves supplementing a team with additional development capacity during critical phases of a project. For example, the Development Center recently provided 750 hours of development work over a four-week period to help a client meet a key project deadline.
