Introducing Sotaware!
Written by Rob Mohr, Partner and COO of Logisolve, and Tim Wenner, CEO of Sotaware
Did you know that Logisolve, in addition to being a leading business technology services provider, with resources in Business Transformation, Digital Solutions, Data Transformation, and Health Sciences has also been operating as a software product company over the past 15 years? If not, you probably aren’t alone.
In 2009, Logisolve created a solution called CARS (Cash Reconciliation Solution) for one of its clients, Allina Health. Not only was the solution successful, it also helped to resolve many pain points that are universal among healthcare providers in attempting to manage and reconcile their cash transactions. With this understanding, Logisolve decided to bring the CARS software product to market to help other like-minded provider organizations who could benefit from the automation and data driven efficiencies that CARS provides.
The business opportunities have steadily grown over the past several years and now CARS and a more recent cloud-based solution, Beanware are being used by fifteen different organizations across the country, helping them to ensure that their cash transactions are being applied accurately and efficiently. This has allowed for a reduction in the number of resources needed to manage these processes and has created a considerable ROI in the use of the product.
With the goal of continuing to grow this business segment, Logisolve has decided to spin-off the software division as an independent company under the Logisolve Holdings umbrella. This new company will be called Sotaware.
As a separate entity, Sotaware will allow for clearer definition and delineation of the efforts within the two unique organizations, eliminating any potential confusion around intended purpose and/or focus. This change also creates opportunity for enhanced brand marketing and recognition for Sotaware and the software products that it provides. Finally, the division will establish a clear financial picture for each organization to allow for more targeted strategic decisions and investment of resources.
Sotaware will be led by Tim Wenner as CEO and Tim Ward as Chief Technologist and will report to a board of directors within Logisolve Holdings, LLC. The spin-off is expected to be complete as of January 1st, 2025. Congratulations to the Sotaware team and best wishes for continued success!
